Ichnusa Lines has once again recorded an exceptional season, with a 37.2% increase in passengers and a 30.1% increase in turnover compared to the previous year.
This result was partly favored by the difficulties of our competitor on the same route, but also in the months of April, May, August and September, when the competitor was operational, there was a significant increase compared to 2023.<\/p>\n
We are also pleased to share two special moments that saw the Ichnusa ship as protagonist. It was used as a set for the television filming of Michael Portillo’s documentary program “Great Continental Railway Journeys”, which will be broadcast on the BBC and Rai5. Then, in October the ship brought over 300 participants, from Sardinia to Corsica, for the NAVIGANTES event, which promotes Sardinian culture and identity.<\/p>\n
At the time of writing this post, the Ichnusa ship is in the shipyard for the refitting of new generators. Consequently, the vessel will guarantee more comfort and efficiency, creating lower emissions and less noise and vibrations for a more relaxing navigation.<\/p>\n
