The third edition of “Economia del Mare”, promoted by Sole 24 Ore, brought together institutions and companies to discuss the prospects of the Italian Blue Economy. With 228 thousand companies and a value of 52.4 billion euros, the maritime sector represents a strategic component of the national economy, employing almost 914 thousand people. However, recent geopolitical crises, such as the Middle Eastern instability and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, pose new challenges.<\/p>\n
During the event, our CEO, Aldo Negri, participated in the round table entitled “The interconnection between sea and land for successful freight logistics”. In this context, the importance of integrated logistics was underlined to support the growth of the sector and the potential that the Government’s Sea Plan aims to develop.
The meeting also addressed crucial issues such as sustainability and energy transition, also highlighting how the Blue Economy can contribute to a greener and more resilient future.
