The partnership with Ogyre forms part of a framework of actions aimed at protecting marine ecosystems through a collaborative and measurable approach. Ogyre is an Italian start-up that has developed the world\u2019s first global fishing for litter platform\u2014an operational model that directly involves local fishermen in the removal of marine waste during their regular fishing activities or through collection trips.
Recovered waste is brought ashore, weighed, classified and properly disposed of or recycled, ensuring a significant environmental and social impact while supporting coastal communities in Italy, Brazil and Indonesia. <\/p>\n
Our objective is clear and measurable: to collect 4,500 kilograms of marine waste over a three-year period. This action is part of our broader environmental sustainability journey, fully aligned with the Group\u2019s ESG objectives, following the first step taken in April with the beach clean-up in Recco alongside our people and Ogyre. A symbolic initiative that marked the beginning of a shared path, now strengthened through a long-term collaboration for cleaner seas.
