A new entrepreneurial reality in the maritime-port sector has been established in Genoa. Sinalefi, an anagram of Finsea and IL Investimenti, is 50% owned by the two holdings belonging to the Negri, Clavarino, and Schenone families, respectively, and will provide agency services and assistance for maritime works.
Two contracts have been signed to date: with Fincantieri Infrastructure Opere Marittime and with PerGenova Breakwater, a consortium of companies composed of Fincantieri Infrastructure Opere Marittime, Webuild, Fincosit, and Società italiana dragaggi, which won the tender for the design and construction of the offshore breakwater of Genoa.
Alessia Di Stefano, president of the company, and Luigi Derchi, CEO, will manage the operational structure, led by Federico Cosso and dedicated to this project for the next two and a half years.
The work involves, in addition to assisting all ships and vessels that will head towards the Ligurian capital to unload the stone material – about eight million tons, eighty times the travertine used to build the Colosseum – which will be used to construct the bed on which the infrastructure will rest, also the function of a hub for the loading ports.
Pierpaolo Di Campo is the recommending agent for the new maritime agency.
