New Board of Directors for Blu Navy: a further step in the company’s growth

BN di Navigazione, operating under the Blu Navy brand within the Finsea Group’s Shipping Lines Business Unit—of which Finsea is a founding shareholder—has announced the new Board of Directors. Giulio Schenone has been appointed Chairman, Aldo Negri Chief Executive Officer, and Luigi Genghi Director with responsibility for technical fleet management.

The Board is completed by the appointment of Massimo De Ferrari, Paolo Di Tursi, Vincenzo Franza, Vincenzo Gorgoglione, Raffaele Negri and Silvio Traverso.

Blu Navy has continued its growth trajectory with the ambitious goal of reaching one million passengers by 2025, a milestone made achievable also through the recent strengthening of the fleet, which now includes the new bidirectional vessel Aethalia, alongside Acciarello and Tremestieri. With a total capacity of over 2,100 passengers and 2,500 linear metres of cargo space, Blu Navy has further reinforced its presence on the Piombino–Portoferraio route, ensuring hourly departures during peak periods.

Finsea has managed this operation directly for many years, investing resources, vision and expertise. Thanks to the ongoing commitment of the people dedicated to the project, Blu Navy has grown and consolidated its presence in the region, progressively increasing its market share. Operating three vessels with four daily round trips each represents a significant achievement, the result of dedication, foresight and teamwork carried out with passion and consistency.
