Shipping yards

Since 2017, we have been partners of the Genova Industrie Navali Group, one of the most important players in shipbuilding in the Mediterranean, capable of meeting all needs related to ship construction and repair, thanks to highly specialized professionals.

In addition to its Genoese facilities T. Mariotti and San Giorgio del Porto, the GIN group has acquired the Chantier Naval de Marseille – with the largest dry dock in the Mediterranean – and established, together with the company Fratelli Neri, of Piombino Industrie Marittime.

The Genova Industrie Navali group established in Genoa in 2008, unites two historic shipyards of the city: T. Mariotti – specialized in the construction of ultra-luxury cruise ships – and San Giorgio del Porto – recognized worldwide as a reference point for repairs, maintenance, and transformations of all types of ships.

The GIN group has expanded with the acquisition of Chantier Naval de Marseille – a modern and efficient facility in the port of Marseille (France) with the largest dry dock in the Mediterranean – and with the creation together with the company Fratelli Neri, of Piombino Industrie Marittime – a multipurpose shipyard with high safety standards in the port of Piombino.

Genova Industrie Navali, with over 500 direct and 1200 indirect jobs, represents the entire naval sector, competent, flexible, and efficient, capable of offering a wide range of specialized products and services, from repair and maintenance interventions to the design and construction of ultra-luxury passenger ships and megayachts.

The GIN group maintains its headquarters in Genoa and many of its infrastructures for a total area of about 67,000 sqm, and is with its shipyards, a significant presence also in Piombino (103,000 sqm) and Marseille (90,000 sqm).
