Beach clean-up in Recco: sustainability turned into action

In April, the Finsea Group organised a beach clean-up initiative in Recco together with Ogyre, an Italian start-up that engages fishermen in the recovery of marine waste: transforming it into environmental and economic value. Colleagues, together with their families and friends were involved in an activity in support of the environment.

During the day, waste was collected along the coastline and on local beaches. A simple gesture with a significant impact, both in terms of protecting the marine ecosystem and raising awareness among participants. The initiative highlighted how millions of tonnes of plastic end up in the oceans every year, turning an abstract statistic into a shared responsibility.

This experience strengthened the belief that sustainability is not merely a concept, but a set of clear actions. Change starts precisely here: with everyday choices, even small ones, capable of generating real benefits for the environment and the community.
